New Jersey, Here I Come

Gooooogle Plane

Last day in Peru. Time to get back to the grind.

I’m not flying on the Google plane, by the way.

Thought I’d leave you with two of my favorite entries from my latest work entitled, “I Write On Anything (Written on a Napkin)“. This is also available as an eBook.

The first is called “Broken, Shattered”

Scouring the underbelly of your will
Hanging from a desperate trap
With untamed Eskimos leaping at your will
And landing in your lap

Freeze your movements in pinpoints of time
Your jealousy glows greener than a lime

Underdeveloped pedals searching for light
And they scream at you, unaware
To see things in a different light
Escape with the echoes from your lair

Collapse on a rock and feel its moisture
Squeezed out from within
Pressure containment, sexual tenure
Controls the box you are in

Aim for concentric calamities
Broken mirrors, shattered vanities

The world is broken, shattered chandelier
Falls ring-red around my feet
Step over obstacles, unscathed but
bleeding
Hot coals form a cobblestone street

The second starts with one of my favorite phrases (note, that’s not a typo at the end):

Melancholy whimsical dutiful soul
With the beauty, but also the mind of a troll
Come to me, be me, feel confusion
Like the melted feeling of a (god it’s beautiful) illusion
Waterfalls, greenery, proud, proud land
Never as peaceful as what I had planned
Because it’s never as you expect
That should have been in the text
But you never read
Your mind’s never been fed
The dream of a man rich with {life, all
